After interviewing the client, the designer put together a scheme that’s within the budget and carried out the “Green Garden” theme for the joint. The tables, chair, pendants, wood veneers and chair cushions were selected by our designer from the client’s source in China. The color selection, custom millworks, dropped ceiling and other architectural details were carefully designed to go with the concept of an exotic “Green Garden”. Stalks of 2×6 studs were purchased from home depot, then sawed, sanded and stained by our contractor to imitate tree trunks in the garden. The whole design avoided use of high cost materials and complicated construction methods. The scheme was a very cost effective one. In the end, we went well at the owner’s budget and had the restaurant opened in just 6 months from the day we started the consultation.
